Where can i find a Cheap 1W+ laser?

Many members here regularly build and sell their own units. A 1w unit will run you on average $100 + shipping; a slightly stronger 1.4w unit will be roughly $150 or less.

As far as protective goggles go; QQ Tech which is a Chinese company sells them for about $9 USD

These goggles are both cheap and effective. For the most part they are pretty low quality. It is mostly designed from plastic but the only part that really matters is the shielding material and it is more than excellent for protection against 400nm-580nm

It wont do that well against 600nm+

I am one of the members open for building 1w+ 445nm lasers BTW.

I would suggest the UVEX goggles in my signature which are also sold on amazon and have been torture tested here on LPF and I have three pair myself with all working perfect. They work for 405-532nm great and are also certified for low level projectile damage standards(ANSI Z87.1-2003 and CSA Z94.3). They run for about $9 as well.
