Greenie, they have got 150mA output from, not sure what that is in Mw for it, but for free. There fixed it ;-)

Considering your can get this 5mW green laser module for $10 or so from DX, that would be a waste of a free $60.

I'm not going to be home for this one...hopefully I'll have internet access on the cruise ship I'll be on. I wouldn't mind some free LEDs.

Same here...I got 20 items that end in $.95 so it evens out to a dollar, I have exactly $100 in my cart.

Cheers for the reminder,

shame for anything to get shipped to the UK they are quoting $65, I was thinking about getting the variable temp. soldering station :)

That's wierd I did calculate shipping with tons of stuff (solar panel, soldering set etc) and I see 40$ on "calculate shipping" to France. Do they calculate shipping by weight or volume ?

Thanks for the share :)

Apparently, their site is down right now. I hope this will not happen in the Free Day.
Anyone knows how reliable is the "First Class Airmail" service? At least for international shipments ... I've heard mixed reports about USPS.

They do charlie, but the price depends on what you order.

I'm going to try and go for it as well, but don't have $100 of stuff that I need/want. Do you want anything Charlie?

I was curious to see how the checkout is done and when i was at the step of shipping methods, when I saw the following text:

Value Declaration Choose the value for items you wish to declare for your insured shipping method(s). All shipping rates below will be recalculated to represent your decision (USPS rates are not affected).
Option 1. Full value ($95.40 for all items)
Option 2. Replacement value ($40.12 for all items)
WTF is this?? Does this mean I have to pay an additional $40 and shipping?

No, it means that you can choose what the declared value of the package is in case you choose insured shipping ;)

I'm going to have a browse around tonight and see if there's anything, but I'm sure I can find some stuff I need. I'll be in a mock exam, but hopefully my mum and/or dad won't be in work or busy at the time, so (s)he can place it for me.

That is asking what you want them to put on the shipping forms - whether they declare the package as being worth the full value, or only the "cost price" of the items, since this is the maximum shippers will pay if the package is lost/damaged. You don't pay this, it is only what they declare on the package.
