source of CHEAPEST 5mW Green pointers

Looking for a source for the cheapest 5mW Green laser pens.

I've found a source for $5 per pen, im looking for cheaper if you know of any

Some times cheaper isn't always better. Check out deal extreme or ebay I guess. I have a few cheaper ones and the ones I have spent more for are a ton better. I have a $7 ebay green pen, it's really unstable and hops modes and randomly fades in and out.

DealExtreme: $7.30 5mW 532nm Green Laser Pointer Pen with DX Logo (2*AAA)

If you buy 10 or more of those you can get them for $6. Much better than most $6 lasers....They aren't the best quality, but you are looking for cheap. I think this is about the best you can get for this cheap.

ive bought over 1000 green 5mw pens from wlaser over the last year all were overspec usually 25 to 45mw..U.S. based distributer 2/3day shipping warranty wlaserservice@gmail.com $7.00 and no im not telling you my vip price lol..

I have bought a bunch of these from sandidgepatrick for friends around work who have never owned a green laser before and they were in heaven. I gave one to my neighbor and he said he could hear I high pitched noise from one of them but that it worked just fine. They all produced a nice beam for their power and are good options for someones 1st pointer. I resold some for a profit and then gave the others away as gifts.

This is a very interesting post.

I recently bought 3 5mW pens off ebay, with slightly varying outputs. One even had a 2sec warmup time.

They look exactly like the one Wlasers are selling on ebay for 10.88 with batteries and shipping.

I do not have a meter and would be grateful for some information on the spread in output of $10 5mW pens.

wlaser gives l.p.f. members over spec. 5mw pens for $7.00 he will meter them before shipping u can ask for exact output before hand if you want.. he does sell on ebay too ..he is the seller from baton rouge,LA. u.s. shipping may vary outside u.s.

Thanks, I have just written that it would be quite useful to me, and asked to have the result included on a note with the pen.

A meter would be nice to have, I just don't have enough lasers yet to start diverting the laser budget in a meter.

I fully understand Toke
My LPM gave me an extra kick to my laser hobby. It was quite interesting to measure the REAL power of my first two lasers I had (200mW + 30mW O-Like greenies)!

I buyed at least 5 from DX (the 7 dollar one) and all of them was perfectly working, despite the dpss limitations.

Try Volumerate. It sells the same lasers DX sells but less expensive. Their DX 5mw pointer is the cheapest I have seen.
