Hey Chris Chen......

you have been on the Forum since May of 2009 and have only 4 Posts
racked up... and all of them to sell your over priced/low quality Lasers..

You have contributed absolutely nothing to this Forum Community in the
7 months that you have been a member here...
Why don't you purchase an advertising spot... at least then.. you would
be doing some thing for the Forum...

Does this mean we can get the $300 150mW Green laser and then add the xmas2009 discount making it a total of $255?? if so that's a great deal!

I can almost afford it too.. but.. must buy people christmas presents..
I'll see how much money I have by December 31st, I'd really like to purchase this laser.

I just tried this out and you do get for $255. Not bad considering that's about what I paid for my 100mW Evolution Pro from WL.

Chris ---

$9.99 shipping to US? I just paid $32 shipping for a 200 mW.
Someone is getting a good deal here.

It is $9.99 USPS shipping in U.S. because 'SKYlasers' is in the U.S. Their factories are in China, but the resellers are based in the U.S.

It's a pretty good deal (~175mW laser + Goggles), but the only downfall is having to buy your own Li-ion 18650 batteries which are a bit costly. (~$7 per battery + shipping).

yeah that's what I mean!
I wasn't sure if doing this was cheating the system because I didn't know if it was $300 for this laser OR 15% off all items.

18650's on DX come in a pair for about that price without shipping:D

I'd be cautious buying Chinese batteries just because they're cheap. Chinese capacitors are known for failure. You're better off in the long run paying $12-14 for a Japanese (or US) made 18650.

You may be right. These come from the USA while mine is coming from Betty in China. That may account for the shipping difference in $.

I've always stuck with the Ultrafire/Trustfire battery brands, they seem to be great. Never had one fail me (except when I tried to remove the PCB and it almost blew up on me [courtesy of Niko lol])
The unprotected ones that are usually just a solid blue color make me feel a little uneasy.
I'm not sure what other battery brands are out there as far as 18650's, but my favorite is Ultrafire (this also goes for cr123a).

I don't know how many of you guys want one of these, but I sure do...
I'll know for sure if I can get it by the end of this month.

Chris Chen, these are rated at 150mW? When tested what do they average? and what do they peak?
thanks!

I have one coming for review from Betty. I have 2 older 200 mW lasers from Sky but this is current production.

Dont be surprised if your 150mW laser puts out about 90mW. Skylasers are known for cheaply priced lasers, but quality, and on spec results are not one of their finer points.

TJ --:)

I have 2 early 200 mW greens, the second of which puts out 76 mW sometimes and then BURSTS to over 350 mW. !!!!! This was an early beta unit which I paid a bunch to help them.
I'm hoping this new one is a beast but I will make an honest report.
