The datasheet can be found here:

http://digchip.com/datasheets/download_datasheet.php?id=824381&part-number=RLD65PZB5

It says 240mW maximum power in pulsed mode. Strangely it gives no rating for cw!?
However the stonetek diode has only 180mW pulsed rating so I think they are comparable. If anyone can judge this better then me from the datasheets would be nice!

Whats this goodeinbright about? At least not german  ;D

Yeah... on the 2nd page of the data sheet under operating current....
it says CW 80mW at that current.

Based on the spec-sheet the diode seems to be rohm's equivalent of the sony diode. So you are probably looking at the same power levels, perhaps more, but I can't say anything with certainty as these diodes have not been tested yet. Even so 10eur a diode is definitely not a bad deal.

Finally I ordered 3 of them. I think they are really worth it ,shipping was extremely fast (2 days from order to arrival at my house) and they take 200mA CW without breaking. And are really really bright :) I could not test more because first I had no googles and second I didn't want to risk more without a powermeter. Maybe I can test their power output at work tomorrow.

I think it is a 25mW diode at room temp...
Maybe a member that can read German a bit better... could respond...
Jerry

nah... they say it's max output will gain 25mW every 20 degrees Celsius you cool it down

i am german so when someone have questions you can ask me :)

Hi Yo guys

I have my second order here and they give round about 160 mw, behing aixis acryl lens @200mw.
No tec just in a MXDL build with flexdrive.

Since the LOCs are that cheap available, i dont need them anymore.
13,5 usd for LPC815 sled, from LPF User Bluray, in BST section, for example is close to the same price and much more power.
You have just to wait 2-3 weeks!

Schöne grüsse aus bielefeld  :)

Daniel
