on the 100mw it says the continuous output is 30mw 
A little less than the 100mw.. but on the 200mw it says the continuous ouput is 200mw..weird
EDIT: I looked at and and i think that it is dpss? :-? :-?

I'm sure i've seen the term 'spymode' and 'piece of crap' in the same sentence... quick forum search for spymode/spymodex pretty much proved it.
They may be the same as the sentorches, they're probably from the same company, but you seen all the trouble senkat had with under perfoming units and badly shipped lasers. Sentorches are cream of the crop, best of the bunch, 20ft plus balloon poppers. I doubt they own a power meter to test their lasers, even if they do I doubt they care about bad units.

Spymodex does not even know what the hell they are selling - regular diode lasers do NOT have a "pump diode" Freaking retards...damn, no offense meant to anyone who may be mentally retarded, as Spymodex is definitley NOT that smart, and I do not mean to insult anyone who is retarded. Speaking of Sentorches... its quite fun in this Christmas season to take my Dragon in one hand and my laser Senkat made in the other and mix the colors in the sky... green and red.. quite a dramatic effect... fitting for the season!

I ordered a 250mw Red w/ DPSS that looks just like this. The seller stated all units tested and verified before shipping. Price was $200.00 Shipped, Coming from Italy I think it was. It hasn't arrived yet, but I will post as soon as I find something out about it. Maybe a Good Deal for the Money?
I have also found Green 240mw Pen Style Pointer for a total of ONLY $75.00!!! I will be ordering one of those in a day or two to try one out. I am sure it is like a DX, maybe you get a good one, maybe you don't, but at that price, if the bad one comes out to be 100mw, it still isn't bad for the price. I will let everyone know soon!

Spymode is the original unfiltered laser scam as far as I'm concerned. I've been in touch with them and they are pretty much the worst and nastiest scammers you can deal with. Why people still bother with their site... I dunno.

I contacted Spymodex about 1 year ago, and they knew as much about their own lasers as I did at the time as a clueless customer. I'm sure I know more about them now then they do now
I eventually owned two of those gotten from a seller online. Both were obviously overdriven as they died within 3 months. Beeeep :-X
Luckily I paid only for one and it was about 115 us dollars.

Don't buy that 240mW green pen style pointer from ebay. it looks like a blatant scam to me. they dont even say 240mW of green. more likely the pump diode is 240mW making the output about ~50mW with IR leaking all over the place. not to mention a posible overdriven diode that will fail early.
I have suspicions it might just be a 5-30mW laser but if you really want to try it for the price...

Thanks for the input. I am not well versed on all the phrases for these yet. It has been 25 years since I got my degree in Electonic Controls and I never used the knowledge since, went into another feild at the time, so bare w/ me.
The red was listed as Pump Driver at 660nm? I think it was, would have to go check. They stated a 1w Diode and a meter test of 250mw or higher to pass. In another comm they said they test for 30 second runs to pass their test.
Who knows, it is on the way, probably junk, but I wanted to try a commercial high pwered red w/ a 3.7 rechargable battery. For 190, ?????
The Greenie ended up to be $60.00 Total, so I got one just to take apart and play with if needed. Can't beat the price. They didn't show any stickers on them and the case appears a bit different than the ones that you used to be able to find on ebay last month, now you have to go to the UK site to find any.
So hoping it is a bit different than the total pukers and maybe from a different Vendor. Still probably a P.O.S. but at a better price than DX, less than half.
So wish me luck!
