Thats a sign that DPSS blues are not yet all that much cheaper considering this one was used.. hope its over spec--473 is a sweet blue-- congrats!

oh that was not me I wish I could have won it though. I have decided to go through with upgrading the guitar I built instead of paying top $$$ for a 473 labby. She is going to look so good when I am done I'll post some pics. I don't think I will get to many more lasers for the next few years because all I need are expensive "yellow" and orange HeNe lasers, a DPSS 589, a ML argon, and a 515/520. Now is the time to save and crawl Ebay for cool deals.

Maybe too high for todays prices BUT that is NOT a bad deal going by prices not so long ago... for this thread to work well --- we need to only call or place dibbs when we are sure- and if the price goes too high for one its really nice to allow others a shot-

NOW that HeNe IMO is an awesome deal- even at 2mW-- mine makes 6mW & I paid cash in hand 400$ from Dr Sam himself at the SELEM event in 2011(iirc).
(he was our guest of gonor)

no PS came with either- BUt he did autograph it for me and like all others Sam fixes free for lifetime- we pay only the shipping to Philly.

I agree its been up for a while, i've seen it before. not a bad deal at all frankly. this one would be rival to mine. its 2mW because its polarized, but that means its raw output tube wise is over 4 like mine this is a top-class tube.

IF you will go back 59 pages and 1473 posts you will find the OP and theThread starter-

This is a friendly forum-- and my friends mean a lot to me- and i like to think they feel the same way- I found the Ebay listing with more than 100 laser items- TWO I knew friends were interested in. so I did what I did and I see nothing written by the OP that sez I broke any rules-- so by your reasoning i cannot save a seat in church for a friend or hold their place in line while they go take a piss. I can count how many members i have gotten sideways with on one hand and you are the middle finger on that hand.

OK Kaph is now bidding on the red baby HeNe- the other member cannot bid this time ..so next one of these I see will be posted here for anyone who wants-- I have seen only a few Red Laser lamps in person but have seen pics of more and each is a work of art-

I hope a forum member got that yellow HeNe - only 2mW but the color makes up for the low power and yellow is close to green in eye sensitivity-- excellent price --

what a thread this has turned out to be- Aaron(Allthatwhichis) at PL -EX gave me the idea he made that thread there long ago-

time to make that RGV 2/3 motor SPIRO you have been putting off-

just dont forget to let these lasers rest after 45 seconds of use- give them 15 seconds rest if amibent temp is cool --longer if hot- and if /when ..one/some fail- ..dont cry go buy (3 more).. Last trio I got made ~250mW ( they were $4 each then)

ALSO if you are thinking about adding lasers to your RC Mantoys AixiZ now has the NEW worlds smallest 1- 2 and 4 mW reds(650)- the smaller of these is 2mm X 5mm-and it has pins (like those made for soldering into a PCB) IIRC 3vdc--
