Yeah, it's still a great setup for the price. Though I usually go through Techhood myself.

Even if the items costs a bit more go with AixiZ then techhood--LLands is no longer even on my list. If enough find an item there and send link to AixiZ they will be more inclined to try and get that items for thoer three 'store' AixiZ is the ONLY one to actually place your order- Just 'window shop' at AixiZ amazon/greedbay.

see these cool items=

THE Store (to order from)
place items in cart when done click 'shipping' top of list on your left.
BUt best to call a 888 4AIXIZ 1 (tool free) and say you are both Laser forum member and F.O.H. (friends of hak)--you *MIGHT* getfree shipping on some items- while you have Chuck on the phone tell him about any items you would like to see at AixiZ.com

Some LINKShttp://www.aixiz.com/

the 20mW green module
515nm 20mW diode based Laser Module 12x30mm, AixiZ

the socket

Laser Diode Testing Socket TO-18, AixiZ

the wire (20 inch) mount for diodes no solder required ez swap out great for testing mass amount of diodes

3 pin long wire mount for laser diodes 20" length, AixiZ

ALSO if you are working with a 'spendy' diode think hard about using a Lasorb to protect your investment-AixiZ has several. Order FB3 QS or BEYOND from AixiZ BUT THRU ME-

and I can get you a better price (than ANY USA Dealer)

I can also get you LSX-

Cheap X-cubes ($6.70 shipped) from computer projectors. These are 22x22x22mm trichroic beam combining cubes from computer projectors that allow you to combine RGB in one cube. Some people sell them on eBay for about $30.

I'd buy them myself, but I have some larger ones from other projectors already.

wow thats cheap no matter which it is- I have two repair shops watching for these to be brought in for repair as in the past most owners find buying a new PJ is smarter than getting an old one fixed- `I wil pop for one of these and will get back with what I learn- Cant+5 you BB until the system allows-I wish someone could give al the makers and mosdles that have these big cubes inside.

but you have my thanks for sharing this listing

That solid state laser is a ~25mW 532, iirc. Remember seeing that one

Hmm, not too sure myself. I'm not sure if cross cubes actually exist either. From the square bit of coating I see on one of the surfaces, I do think it is a projector X-cube. Those coatings are usually polarized to ensure good mixing.

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

I've seen numerous cross cubes on ebay. Its just two right triangle cubes glued together instead of the four to make up a x cube. I noticed I thibk its the second photo you can barely see the x in the cube so I thibk the seller is just xonfusing his wording.

It does look to be a x cube and as mentioned before, for the price it really doesn't matter lol

They're pretty too, so they don't have to be used for beam combing.

I hit BUY it Now on two of the last IIRC 7 cubes like that one- but they do have another size- After I paid teh seller refunded mypayment & I feared they were going to refuse to sell -- proce mistake/ incorrect inventory left ETC> BUT it turned out to be a GOOD thing after all. The seller messg. me saying because I am paying for two cubes ii get the second one for ONE DollAR LESS!! woot
I think i was messg. with a lady- So I go back again to re=read what was there and the entire amount was refunded. Was there a chance that by mistake I would get to for free?? being the big thief I am I... nah J/K I immeadiatly wrote back to the seller about the mistake and suspect later today they will reply and I will send them another paypal.

I hope I did not snipe an item from beneath an member- - There was 17hrs left only one bid so I sniped correctly at 48$ as the other bidder (FB score 21/ is that YOU?) the bidder used Ebay bidding max -my snipe service swooped in with 2 seconds left --just as i asked and the bidding stopped at 46$ so the loser had set a max of $45-- shipping was $12 on a digital LED JDSL 2500 Remote controller for Argon - I have paid more than 125$ for a few before- So this was a great price IMHO

" FS Argon plug n play NOW with the 2500 RC"
I would like to sell it to a local buyer -these are expensive to ship--
IRC the one I am parting with makes 21mW 488 SL. and doubles nicely as a space heater-- its 30 outside now and in my living room (un heated) its down to 48.
Good night to do Argon monthly burns-

it reads out as you up the Amps and also tells you the mW output- makes any argon (that it works with ) at least another $100 more valuable. --

I will make a thread for it and a few HeNes and a stray Jetlasers laser or two-
I barely got my elect. bill paid and stalling now to find funds to cover Dec Rent- and Jan is due VERY soon- good thing my landlord thinks highly of me- of his five rent houses I am the one here the longest at 6 years.
He knows I am good for it. So any who find cash in their stoking needs to see what I am selling. :thanks::wave::beer::beer::beer:

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

Just found these.

12V 6A 72W TEC1 12706 Thermoelectric Cooler Cooling Peltier Plate Module 40x40mm | eBay

These seem a little cheap. Will they be able to cool to less than freezing temp?

Thanks
-Matt

Are you asking if they can cool below freezing ( < 32F) or if you can reduce the cooling power (IE make stuff cool but not freezing cold)? Either way the answer is probably yes. Most 40mm TECs can reach freezing temperatures assuming you properly mount them to a good size heatsink with a fan and provide full power. To reduce the cooling power just give it less voltage.
