When I complained to that ebay seller who was trying to pawn off M140 diodes as 465 nm wavelength he responded with this message. Appears he is trying to insult me for being an Alaskan:

New message from: critical_eye_studios (174Turquoise Star)

Usually purple move to the northernmost parts of the country to escape other people, as the movers are maladjusted, neurotic, and anti-social. An inferiority complex that's all but impossible to treat follows them and tortures them every moment of the day. As children, they tried to treat their wrecked self esteems by pulling the wings off of flies during six-grade math class, and actually finding enjoyment in doing so. The father north these hapless people move, the greater seems their neuroses.

2 (Two) High Power M140 Laser Diodes 4.2W 2.1W ea. Blue 465nm | eBay

I think he will become enraged when he finally figures out his irate ebay messages can be found online.

It looks like someone bought his diodes knowing that none of the _140's were 465nm and left feedback half accordingly. The left neutral, should have left negative.

I would much rather pay the $17 per diode for the used one DTR has than give that asinine child a penny. I truly hope you report his messages to ebay.

And I would move far away if I was aware that someone such as that seller lived nearby

Uhhh... Did any of you look at the feedback left for items sold in the past? Specifically what those items are?

Coincidence...? (One hell of a coincidence if it is!) That's just a few of the many listings selling watches.

Starting to make sense now... I see 6 counts of feedback involving beluva watch's. It's all coming together. Yep, definitely report the fool to eBay. Maybe they will freeze his secondary account. I know that is not his main but can't remember what his main account was.

Oh wow. That's a steal for that 'used' 301. That would cost me £30 ($40) and it has marks.

I know, what a fantastic deal, eh?

Came across another listing, someone selling a "1W Custom Built 532nm" which is quite clearly a 520 in a flashlight host.

Some people really don't know do they. :banghead: Either that or they are purposely mis-selling.

Thanks Diachi, it is unknown whether or not it works.
Also no power cable.
But from this listing, this is what the power cable looks like. Any ideas?
I don't know if to take the gamble.
Spectra-Physics 337I-68 337nm Nitrogen Laser 337-i w/ Cable Thermo LaserScience | eBay

That looks like the right cable, looks like a regular Molex connector on the one end and I don't see any HV wires, so low voltage DC supply? Would be good to have the connector, but no reason you couldn't replace it.

I was wondering what type of connector the other end was as I maybe able to do something with that. Thanks for sharing that listing. If I can find out the input voltage and current then I could get a power supply and hookup with the connector. Maybe?
