This guy claims to have a 300mW direct green diode laser. I PM'd him on eBay to get the power. He said he bought the diode and then had someone assemble the laser for him. I can't tell if this is legit or not. Any thoughts?

I'd assume he's full of sh!t. Ask for pics of the internals
See how much space there is between the switch and the aperture? Plenty of room for DPSS

Well, it DOES have a 14 day return period, so if it turns out not to be direct green, you can return it

i know different cameras see colors differently, but at 532nm most cameras pic it up properly... that laser does not look any lower than 530nm. look at rhd's pics of the ~510nm it is clearly a different green(532=yellow green, ~510 truer colder forest green)

did anyone notice his other auction is a laserglow 18k lyra... wonder how he got those other pics :gj: also his location says Folsom, CA... he either lives in one of the 5 houses there or is a prisoner

He added "THIS LASER IS <5mW SO EBAY DONT KNOW WHY YOU KEEP REMOVING" to the item description. Oh, this is hilarious. :gj:

This guy is such a scammer! He sold what he claimed to be a Laserglow Vega for $300! (Fake Vega on eBay!) I'd hate to be the one who was sucker enough to buy it from this guy, and I even wonder what he actually shipped out.

He's a man of few words as well. I messaged him again, commending his persistence, while telling him that I was reporting him again. Which I did. He responded, "F@CK OFF."

I don't understand, why does everybody hate this guy? Everyone who purchased from him gave him good feedback. I understand this isn't a direct green, but perhaps he doesn't know the correct terminology. Aside from that, he seems like a fine seller to me.

He said it's a direct green diode with no conversion from IR, which means he knows what he's talking about. That makes him a scammer.
