Ordered this for a dual NUBM44 build, not bad for 30 bucks delivered, holds 3 x 26650's

I also ordered a 12 diode unit for 50 bucks a while back....but I love it and cant tear it down for the case LOL, but the fins on this head look cool, if I had a lathe I would buy a few and make sinks for it, can take 2x18650 up to 3x26650 with supplied extension.

Outdoor TrustFire J18 8000 Lumen 7x CREE XM-L T6 LED 5-Mode LED Flashlight Torch

Nice host for a twin NUBM44 build. With 3x26650's you should have a sensible battery lifetime.

Hi RC,

What is the head diameter of your 12LED torch?

I am thinking to buy a couple of those:

32000LM 24x XML T6 LED Flashlight 5 Modes Torch 26650/18650 Camping Light USA | eBay

and use 2nd body as extension of battery department - so eight of 26650 would fit in total making up to 32V!

Making the length good enough to look like laser spears of Stargate aliens...and N. block as "light engine".

Hi Ricker,

Who is buying DMD chips? What are they of use for? If they would fit into old flat TVs with many hours of use maybe useful, but if the only use would be to fix dead PJs of the same type, which entered market only 1 or 2 years ago, then I see no point of people buying them. Are there illegal PJ assemblers around???

I have seen it with other model numbers, over time they make small changes or switch manufacturers, switches get cheaper......anyway get one in hand before you make a sink of course, this Trustfire 12T6 is about 3 inches across the front, but you can remove the front and attach to the heatsink stack as well.

Here's some more pics of it >>>> http://laserpointerforums.com/f72/c-cell-maglite-notice-98538-2.html#post1443071

Hey SG! They are basically the cheapest way out of having to buy a new PJ. If yours has a bunch of dead pixels, lines, spots, etc. then the best way to fix that is (usually) to replace the DMD chip with a new one. I do not know what other things use DMD chips, I do not believe any TV's do, but I am not positive, hope this helped any! :D

The asking price is too steep, but did you see the manufacture date? Just last year. Chances are it still works, but that is not for certain. I think it would be worth $330.00.

Offered half, he countered 600. - If I knew it was working I'd consider it, worth it, but has to be a real deal for me to buy it.

RCB: Now that flashlight ought to make a nice host for your blue torch :)

H2O: That is a deal on those mounts, many with optics.
