That is Abarnetts brother Zach taking over his business for him. His brother said AB is going through some personal problems ATM, and is making his way though orders to fulfill then.

Maybe I'm just being paranoid and maybe I don't have enough information on the subject, buuutttt.... This whole "brother" thing seems kinda suspicious to me. Maybe that's just me though. Hopefully everything is going alright with Abarnette's situation.

Yeah I'm holding off on my initial thought of, wait huh? Only time will tell the truth, but I guess as long as the orders are getting fulfilled, all is well in the end. From the way it sounds, his brother is only temporarily keeping things going.

Might see if they have some with lower hours on them and try my hand at offering some cheap used diodes here again. Picked up a couple units two months ago with that idea and had a bad go. Around one in 5 diodes was LED out of the array and a few died after running for a short period. Picked out the working ones and sold them off at a loss to few guys here with fair warning.

Funny cause I literally just bought (2) knife edges from him and a M type. Lol

I think you selling used M and A types would be good, no matter what they are great diodes and with them being so cheap, they are hard to pass up and great to have around!

Picked up a few under 1500 hour M145 units. Got them up here.

Anyone still looking for the "Aspire CF mech mod" wrapped in black carbon fiber?
It's on sale now for $9.00 at "Vapage", looks like 3 more days only. They're located in California.

There have been several threads on this mod from members, and IIRC, all have liked it.

I know the 22mm 510 adapters that DTR sold are not available anymore, but many of us have these modules already.
IMO, this is one of the nicest looking stock mods out there, and it is a side push button unit, a big plus!

Edit: As CaliKirk mentions in the next post (below), they also throw in a 15ml bottle of juice for you actual vapers! :)

Great find Bowtieguy! At that price I couldn't help myself and bought one, plus they threw in a free 15ml juice! Even if I don't use this for a laser, I vape so it'll get used somehow.

I'd rep ya but won't let me :(

Just a tip, a nice way to be able to rep people often is to neg or +rep spammers. It counts towards your "spread rep around". :D

I can start giving that a try but really its more I find myself repping the same people as almost the same people post new stuff each day. I personally don't feel like spending time looking for spam posts or other means to try to gain more reps in a given period. Maybe I'm not using it right but I don't really use the rep system for negative things but more posts that I find help me or deserves a quick praise. If I don't have any available I'll just keep reading on

Great find Jeff !!
If I didn't have half a dozen, I would've bought some as well.
Like you say, they're very nice looking and the side button lights up when you push it.

Thanks! I forgot to mention the free bottle of juice that they throw in with the deal. I'll have to find someone to give mine to.

RB, you are the first person that I saw with one of these, and I've wanted one ever since!

Very good deal on a PSU that can power those cheap pulsed Er:YAG heads that pop up all the time: KAISER SYSTEMS LS1000 CAPACITOR POWER SUPPLY 1.25KV, 1.7A, $225.00
Don't be afraid to send a best offer either, I bought one from this guy a while back for $175 IIRC.

They are simple to configure, and I can provide a pinout to those that need to build a controller.

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

thx for this "find-thread" on attractive offers..(subscr)

are on a pron-level when it comes to diodes, but atm looking at some specific red diodes of the more powerfull-kind to suit up in a fat beam red-lappy where the driver, seems to deliver around the needed specs.
sofare it looks like its the Mitsubishi ML501P73 or the Oclaro HL63193MG around the 24US delivered there gives most punch for the buck, if you wanne step it up a nudge after these attractive red-budgetdiodes like the 4US Mitsubishi ML101U29-25 that tops out around 3 to 400mv.

Mitsubishi ML501P73 638nm 500mW Oranger Red Laser Diode 1 PCS | eBay
Oclaro HL63193MG 638nm 700mW Orange Red Laser Diode 1 pcs | eBay

according to DTRs test-scheme of these two diodes (thx DTR) it seems they deliver around the 1w pretty stabile (1.2A at 2.5v), but the LPF-threads with the data and debate all seems dead with 2 to 3 years on the back since last post, so are little uncertain if its because there is better alternatives, on high power redwavelength-diodes, that I havent taken notice of.?

is the Mitsubishi ML501P73 or the Oclaro HL63193MG still the ones to go for here at 3q16 at 24US delivered (with an little edge to Oclaro LD hence better profile) if your literally seeking watt for bucks in the red spectrum?
