If it is the one I'm thinking of, then yes I have. I didn't know that this was that one, though. Oh well. I thought that one had two beams and was a lower power. I guess I didn't pay that much attention to it as I wasn't interested in a two beam diode. This listing came out today.

These last MX-900's I received have the dual battery option tubes, they fit the BudgetBeams sinks just fine and the fit and finish is very good, these can hold 1 or 2 x 26650 also 1 or 2 x 18650 or a pair of 18350 or a pair of 16340.

This was a pleasant surprise as it was a bonus/luck of the draw, good luck.

I ordered the rest of Moh's 12mm heatsinks last night, let's hope I was the first to message him!

Did you just buy 5?
Because I have bought several and he still shows 5 each, he may have a stack of them, and I add on anyway so the others will work for my purpose or a 8.3 x 43 mm ring will sandwich in the MX head and you can attach anything to that, just drill and tap, but the sinks are great, I still have a few or I would get more......a smart man would make a deal for all he has and buy an equal number of MX-900's because tater gets 35 dollars for just the MX-900 every time China runs out of stock.

You could sell them later, heck I repurpose the battery spring boards, just flush cut all the FL driver parts off the back of the spring board as it doubles for the driver, drill a hole in the center and widen the edge notch and solder a couple good wires and test for any shorts, there never are any and they work great.

If I wasn't sure I'm going to need 3 cells for future builds I would get more but I have 20 of them, and several in use, they are great switches.

Yeah I bought 5 of them, maybe I should buy the 9mm ones too? Or is there not enough contact for good heatsinking on a 44 or 06 without a module?

Edit: I'm still waiting for a message back from him. So I HOPE I'm buying them.

He's at work and may not get back to you right away, but I get the feeling he has more than 5 of each.

I drill through the 9mm and 5.6 threaded hole with a 12mm drill and drill and tap to attach a 2 x 2 of bar stock, it fits the size of the head pretty well.

You can use just a disc of aluminum the size of that center band, that's what the FL sandwiches. 8.3 x 43 mm.

Then I can add a shelf for Cylindrical pairs and use a 2 inch inner diameter tube for a cover, I could downsize to 1.5 inch but I like the 10 minute duty cycle.

Wow, great job! Not sure if I could do that, well, I could, I should say I'm not sure if I can do that and make it come out so nice!

Oh man, this is the poor boy build, but it works great and is battle ship sturdy, and I save a lot of money.

Its a real sturdy host with a good switch that you can just bolt material to and line things up, a pair of 6x corrected 7 waters would cost 1500 to buy, possibly more, but I build the pair for 550, and most of that is 280 dollars for 2 diodes. 140 for G2's and Cyl's, 50 for drivers, the big parts are cheap, 15 dollar FL, material is 30 dollars.

LOL RICKER my tools are a rock a hammer and a bent screwdriver, so you can do anything if you try, it's just keeping things lined up that's the trick, just takes a little practice or nice tools, I have to go with practice and settle for a form that follows function.

Looks like 3x maybe, the convex will look close to flat on the 6x.

I use 6x from LSP they work well on 44's and very well on 06's

Those might be ok for the ndb7875 or 140 unless you double up 2 pairs.

Yeah, I noticed it doesn't provide the correction of this pair. That's why I sent a message to the seller to get that information. I don't have a very high reserve on them yet.

You can see on the convex the curve, the flatter the higher, this is one of my 6X pairs.

I look at the edges and the center and compare the thickness.

I see. What did you pay for a pair and what is the link for them? :thanks:

Thanks, RED. The eBay link is for a 4X pair and the website only shows a setup with G lens, cyld. pair and mounting hardware for $112.00. I'll take your advise and contact him about the 6X pair.

Edit: according to their engineer, the pair I'm bidding on is 4X. Not quite 6X, but maybe worth a try.
