dunno if it includes shipping or not. here it is. promotion valid 'till 1/17

I'd buy it to sell the diodes, if brazil shipping to USA would not be $20 :(

Am I missing something also?! What would be the point in buying it to harvest and sell the diodes? A 445nm 1W can be bought for aprox 50USD.

Promotion code or not you still would pay 14 times the price of a single harvested 445nm 1W diode. Makes no sence at all.

Let do the math : $764.99 divided by 24 diodes is $31,86 each diode. If you sell them for $50 a piece you need to sell 16 diodes for recuperation of the price of the projector.
The remaining 8 diodes are FREE !!

The new complete 445nm lasers are selling for around $150, you can see the massive profits on these lasers. Money makes the world turn :D

Makes a lot more sence then :) I was not aware that it contained that many diodes. Awesome.

1W blue is not that much when you are going to project 6m away in a 3x3m surface ;) the promotion ended, thats sad.

(btw fix your signature, it isn't "mv", laser power is "mW"...)

Just in case You don't know it yet, but harvesting from the projector is where most of the diodes We buy come from. So if no body Buys a projector to remove the diodes there wouldn't be any to buy.

Hope this clears it up for You.

I was aware of this, but thx for specifying. What I in my ignorance missed was the number of diodes in a single projector :)

... it is "mW" on your sig, not "mw"
hahah. there is no problem about the number of diodes in a proj.. we are all here to learn ;)

Lately I've been getting mine from buy.com, where they are about $768 with free 'econony' shipping. They say it takes 7 to 10 business days, but it's actually quite quick for me. I ordered Monday afternoon and they're scheduled to arrive by FexEx tomorrow (Wednesday).

Actually the last few have been XJ-A140Vs. I don't know what the difference is. I've harvested several now and they appear identical, but I did notice that the laser array is labeled LSC-25 instead of LSA-25 like the earlier ones.

I'm seeing a price of $789.99...... So maybe they just lowered the price recently?
