I Just bought the Reke-10 RGV Mini For 120$ :D, I'm already owner of the REKE-500.

I am having trouble getting them to process my payment as well. I have tried 5 times now and have tried using American Express and Visa just to ensure it wasn't a card issue. When I get to the payment screen I do see that my payment info is carried over wrong, for instance it puts my full name in both first name and last name fields.

When I get back to their site, I see the payment processing error, but then I also get an email saying the order is pending. I also show 5 orders in my account history under 'pending' status.

Has anyone been able to successfully order one of these this weekend?

This Exact same problem has been happening with me. I sent them an email a couple of days ago through the "contact us" page, no response.

I received two responses so far:

Thanks for your email!

We would like to inform that we checked it and there is no records about your order. Maybe you did not pay for it successfully. So if want to keep one, just pay it and we will ship it out soon.

Then I tried again several times.. each time the cart is cleared out and an email is sent confirming the order. I replied back saying that I was still having problems and got this response.

Thanks for your email.

We would like to tell you that perhaps it is the mistake by system. Plz try some more time or change another payment provider. Any other problem, plz feel free to tell us.

I tried again twice this morning with my American Express and got a proxy error message once and both attempts still failed. I then did a Google search on 99bill.com (the payment processor) and found out that they seem to have a lot of problems in general, but the biggest issue is with American Express. I tried my Visa again and it finally went through. :D

Thanks for the tip. I don't have a VISA, but I guess I can try asking a family member to use theirs :/ I really wanted this, yet I'm leaving for China for a month in only 4 days.... (I know, would be fun to pick it up there.)

Gray(Jetlasers) lives in Jinan. Search 'Laser City China' to see where the majority of laser production takes place -- hope you can find some good deals while there..hak:wave:

thank you for the reply. Are your replying to the messages I sent to LPKath at Lasersman ( does she still work there?) and the messages I have sent Kathy at Yourlaser?? First are you having any problem reading and understanding me? If yes then why are you saying I had problem with a cheap pointer?? This tells me that you have not correctly understood my earlier messages.
I & may friends have ordered and paid for no less than six Reke 500 rgb projectors. Now I am trying to order one more for my friend Steve H****s I wll be paying and it will be sent to Steve.
I understand that many at YL or LM are not laser experts. But with one exception my emails about recent problems have NOT been replied to.. As this is going on both Lasersman and Yourlaser have made very many unhappy customers. The general feeling is that they do not care about the warranties or problems after the sale.
We have two REKE 500RGB with issues.
One had poor Green laser module and needed replaced--- the cost to ship would be more than he cost to fix ourselves. The other problem was a poorly aligned mirror--where you should see the color yellow we saw a red and green line there is no yellowlaser inside the REKE ---the yellow is created by combining red and green--this is why I requested a quick test BEFORE shipping.... this is what I call a WIN/WIN. You save money and time to fix or replace(we did it ourselves) and the shipping cost which is many times more than the repairs.
here is my request sent many times but not replied to:

They may also say that Len (or hakzaw) has sent them to you.
They all will ask you to please do this:
1)Remove REKE from box and plug into wall.
2)Turn on the reke and look at the colors
3)you should see a Red-a Green and a Blue Laser. they should be all very bright.
4)look close at the color yellow when you see yellow.
there should be a solid yellow--NOT any Red or Green with the yellow.
The color yellow is created in the REKE by mixing Green and Red- if this is not done right the red or green will show-- please do not send us any with poor yellow.

I would be very nice to hear that SOMEBODY at DinoDorect/Laserman/Yourlaser can understand and help.

WE would be happy for a repayment on the bad green module that we replaced--it cost us 35$ to fix(how about a gift certificate for that)
I now have another REKE 500RGB in my cart at Lasersman.
Once I hear that you or LPKath or Kathy will test this REKE BEFORE shipping I am ready to pay..
The internet has very many complaints there on DD-LM and YL==mostly about pointers and a lot about lost orders, bad lasers and poor help after the sale... I am here to help you and my friends. Just thought I'd confirm that VISA worked for me, while AMEX didn't.

Looks like they charged my credit card TWICE. You might want to double check your statement too. I'll decline the second charge through my bank and let them figure it out. I'm skeptical about this company. Hopefully the laser makes it worthwhile. For $240, it seems like it's a decent gamble.

What is the hit to miss ratio on this company so far?

All I can tell you is about their projectors.
I have heard about lost/delayed orders(not lost projectors) but to date from YL.and LM-- all got eventually thiers and nearly all worked as well as can be expected. Thats the trade-off we must accept considering that just one good laser module and the scanners can cost more than an entire Chijector.

I have read some bad reviews on pointers and handhelds form DD, YL and LM..

Underspec sometimes and long delivery times too. Sometimes wrong items sent.
Hopefully Cherrylee is now on the job and will help all of us.

She has been very helpful to me.

And I find it only fair to send as many good compliments, where warranted as complaints. Silence is not a compliment--I pitched a bitch- got help and went back and added positive replies about the final outcome. Thats just being fair- not jumping thru any damned hoops or kissing any asses!!

Some seem to not be able to see the differance between a bad company and a bad employee- and like-wise a good employee.

Leopards never change their spots but poorly ran companies can change for the better.
We have no clue what it must be like to work for low pay and get angry emails about something which we have no or very little control over.

It is possible to be both firm and friendly- you can be both nice and insistant.

Its best IMHO to keep your comms. very simple and use very few abbreviations or slang terms. keep in mind that in some cases they rely on translations from Babblefish etc.
They use the word 'bounce' instead of 'spring' on-line translators often give the wrong definition of many words. and although I too have failed to have patience, at times, it seems to better to make requests in a friendly manner. And if they do not seem to understand you try again using very simple words and short sentances. Use spellchecker-- a lot!!--hard to define/translate a mispelled word.

Hakzaw1 is correct in his assessment. From my own experiences, as poor a job DD does on the product descriptions and stuff, they did come through in the end for my projectors as well as customer service. I do hope they end up successful in the way DX is, as competition is always a good thing.

Cool.. makes me feel a bit better about the purchase. Thanks for taking the time to respond. The last laser I ordered was an Arctic S3 when first released, so I doubt the wait could be any worse than that.

I do web development for a living, so quirky e-commerce sites probably annoy me more than they really should.

BTW.. thanks for bringing the discount to our attention. I was about to order one of these and the discount basically amounted to nearly free shipping which is no small chunk of change from China!

@DrP.... glad I helped- hope your laser item is a good one. PM cherry lee here at the forum for more help--she has been a great help to me and others. She will give you here private email and she can chat at FB with you too-- 13hrs time diff- so when its midnight Central time here they are doing lunch in China..

ps I suggest that anyone ordering from any E-store to do a search for promo codes/coupons on the net , you may need to try several until you find which ones work and the amount they save you... some sites have newer and better codes so you may need to check more than one code/coupon site.
