If anyone in the area is interested, I lowballed a best offer deal on ebay for an ABI Prism 377 DNA sequencer and won it for $100. Shipping to me is still gonna cost me another $220 for freight so if anyone would like to pick this up local, it would be a dirt cheap way to get a complete argon laser + other goodies.

I PM'd Bryce007. He is in Mesa, AZ. (~20 Mi.)

This is ALMOST worth it for me to drive ;) (~$100 in fuel)

What are the usual specs on the lasers in these?

Couple of others on ebay that I may try for.

Depends a lot on the sequencer, the ones I've gotten (this is my third one) is a Prism 377 - they have Uniphase 2214-40MLA multiline 40mW argon lasers

I need to go to the hardware store and get a spare dryer plug so I can get this wired up to see if it works.
