There's not much that I can do about taxes, but if you order a lower-powered laser I can make sure that you get the most powerful one of its kind which we have in stock. That is, if you order a 450 I'll get you one which is as close to a 500 as possible!

Just place the order and send me an email. I'll make sure you get the best one we have. Due to our extremely generous testing methods, you might be surprised how high a 450 can go! We take the average power and subtract the standard deviation, so in fact some 450s will average over 500 mW.

Can I get a 10,000 discount on a 10W 532?

Hmm, so this Herc 550 I just got told to check is for you, eh?

I think you're going to like it! It just peaked over 750mW on my meter. :D

Thank you for finding that one  I was floored when Justin emailed with the specs

Now I must play the evil waiting game...

Here's a serious question -
Does LaserGlow sell pointers in 532 that are high power?

I was looking at their Lyras, Altairs, and Ansers, and they've got some really nice looking pointers, but they seem to all max out at 5mW.

Is that sort of "wink wink, nod nod, 5mW that is actually 150mW" ? Or does LG actually only sell low powered pointers in 532?

It seems odd that they would sell yellow 589 pointers in up to 39mW, but their 532s max out at 5 - ?!?

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't that the wave length of the Hercules series which go as high as 850mW peak?

Sorry - I was using the LG distinction between "handheld" (like the Herc) and "pointer" (like the Rigel).

Basically - I would love to buy another pocket sized momentary 532nm pointer. My last cheap chinese 150mW 532nm died. It would be nice to grab a GLP-like ~150mW 532. I just can't find that on LG's site anywhere.

Sorry, I should have read that more carefully, I knew it seemed to easy of a question.

I ordered a piano black lyra on the 24th thanks to this forum :)

Also rhd, I emailed them asking about my lyra to make sure it would not be overspec and they said it will be between 4 and 5 mw.

I ordered the Hercules-500 and I'm picking it up Wednesday! I'm so excited!!! I feel like I am almOst officially a member of the club. Can't wait to start shooting videos with it. I have a nightclub style laser around 200mW and a smoke machine. I want to combine them all with maybe some mirrors :)

Cant wait to see those videos. And don't forget the laser goggles especially with all that power and mirrors.

I can't go into much detail about it, but some digging would show that both companies have the same address (only the unit number is different). The two are very closely affiliated, some staff (including me) are shared between them. Suffice to say, when you buy something from NOVAlasers, you're getting all the same stuff Laserglow is known for (quality, consistently overspec lasers, excellent customer service, etc.). The differences are mostly just on paper.

That said, there isn't any way to go "though" LG to get to Nova. There are a few things I can do for you guys (check stock status, answer technical questions, do what I can to cherry pick lasers for you), but for everything else needs to go directly through NOVAlasers.

How much is a Herc 500 with the discount?

REGULAR PRICE for Hercules-500 (if you are picking it up): $1789.00
with the HST tax its $2021.57

SALE PRICE THAT LASTED FROM THE 25TH OF NOVEMBER TO THE 27TH
Sale price for H-500 (pick up): $1,341.00 and
with the HST tax its $1,515.33

I want to personally thank Scott and the sales people at Laserglow for being flexible in terms of allowing me to make a $1,000 deposit on the SALE PRICE of the Hercules-500 over the weekend. I will be picking it up in person tomorrow with the rest of the money ($515.33) after they personally test it for me! I am very excited and i will be making videos with it.

This is my first serious hand held laser and i feel like i bought a Ferrari as a first car. Go hard or go home :tinfoil::thanks:
