Kaidomain 50 mW CR2 greenie

Anyone seen this?

Looks a lot like the 10 mW model on DX, but its advertised on kai as a real 50 mW... sort of interesting, any ideas on the quality of these?

If I am not wrong, it is probably the exact same model that DX is selling as their 30mW.

The 10mW cr2 tube has a different end cap from the new 30/50mW versions

I noticed something similar, or they just put the sticker in a different place - hard to tell from the pics.

On the other hand, the outside doesnt say much about the innards sometimes... perhaps i should just order one and find out?

I have ordered the new DX30 CR2. I will take photos for comparison.

I hope their engineering is more accurate than their spelling

Another reason to think they are from the same manufacturer! But the KD one has an extra tail strap. Now I seriously have the impression KD overadvertises the output of their green lasers compared to DX. I'm avoiding their cheap lasers like a plague. Go DX they have better customer support too.

The material of the body also seems to be different from the old 10mW professional tube version. KD says the new version is cupreous?? what? some copper alloy? and it looks brassy colored instead of the old aluminum one in the 10mW pro version.

The machining also looks much worse in these cupreous models than the old tube version which many people mentioned was very solidly built. Can't wait for the first few reviews to come in. Chimo will probably be the first here.

I went ahead and ordered the thing anyways, its not that expensive, and i guess it will work to some degree.

The label is somewhat interesting, it has the same typo's, but the power markings are different, and so is the color and shape. Perhaps it is the same company, perhaps its just a clone including cloned typos.

Anyways, i'll share my experiences when it arrvives.

I'll be out of town from 18-28 Oct - hopefully mine will arrive by the time I get back.
