Not to important or interesting but I thought I would just post this here..

So, i was looking on a p2p sales site yesterday and saw someone selling a nitecore i4 for AU$15 including "4 generic 18650's"..

So i messaged the guy, and we worked out AU$25 including express postage which I was pretty happy with as I have always wanted an i4 and even if the batteries were crap it still wasn't a bad deal.

The package turned up today and this is what was inside...

That was my exact thought as soon as I saw them.. Probably from one of those battery powered vaporiser's.. I have emailed him to ask.

Great deal!

Make sure you check the voltages on the cells before you start charging or using them.

Yeah i already have.. I am also taking them to get the IR checked later at a mates place. But so far so good.. They seem to be working really well!

Check the internal resistance for each cell. That will give you a good idea of their overall health.

Yeah, That's what i was doing.. Checking the IR (internal resistance)


Also, They are all under 100 bar 1 that was 110! The guy also said he wanted to use them with a e-cigarette but never did as he just quit! So they were never used!! Score!
