For what it's worth, my purchases from chris were as expected. Some of it worked, some of it didn't, some of it matched specs, some of it didn't.

IMO, as long as a responsible buyer understood this ahead of time (and they should have, because it was disclosed), they should have been satisfied with their purchase.

Now, lets see how this 1W 635nm turns out. At $152, I'm not going to let it side if I find out the diode isn't 635, and reasonably up to spec.

Need to find an aluminum TO3 mount for a labby first.

As evidenced by the posts in this thread, the problems that some members have with Chris go well beyond just this "bankruptcy sale."

This was a thread about his bankruptcy sale, and my reference to buyers and purchases was within that context.
