From this thread, it looks like any amount of goggles equates to one $5 discount, not $5 off each pair. Is this correct, or would there be any further discount for an order of several goggles? I'm looking to buy a few (2-4) so that I can demonstrate my new 1.8W to others. (To address the earlier conversation, I am indeed relatively new to lasers, and was originally going to get a 1W, but came across a sale with a value too good to pass up - and I've done my research, and have enough common sense to know what not to do)

I'm aware these goggles don't have sufficient OD for a direct beam of 1.8W 445nm, but my purposes are observation of controlled burning in demonstrations, not general use. I'd buy some eagle pair or similar, but... I don't have $100+ for goggles.

Thanks for your input, the coupon only gives you $5 off per order. I have just added a 3-pack of goggles. The goggles are cheaper in this pack and the $5 off coupon applies as well.

Perhaps you could make 2-4 separate orders... Not sure
if that would work... Then MM would need to ship 2-4
packages instead of just one...
Some how the math doesn't make sense for the seller
if it can be done that way...

According to the 1st post on this Sales Thread there
is no limit to the number of separate orders one can
make using the $5.00 discount code...

From now, until March 1st 2012, Radiant Electronics is offering a special $5.00 discount coupon to all LPF members towards our new, tested, RadiantShades.

Use the coupon code: LPFSHADES5

Click here to check them out!

The time to get a pair of protective laser goggles could never be better!

You could do it that way, but you'd be charged shipping on each order. I added a 3 pack for this reason.

Speaking of shipping, it looks like I can't see the cost of shipping 'til late in checkout, after making an account, and I'm not sure yet whether I'm buying. How much is shipping? Because currently these are only slightly cheaper than the rayfoss pair I already have at $15shipped... and those claim OD5+

Shipping in the US is $4.59 for up to six pairs of goggles. Keep in mind we are based in Canada and the US so we cannot always beat prices of companies in china, you will however receive your item a fair bit faster ordering from us.

Just ran the total costs... looks like the 3-pack from here is about $48shipped, including the discount... and 3 of the rayfoss (which have an OD 3 higher than these) are $40shipped.

Now I'll admit that this pair of rayfoss goggles took about 3 weeks to arrive when I ordered one previously, but... dunno if half the OD for $8 more is worth whatever the bump in shipping time is.

edit:
To clarify, I'm not trying to passive-aggressively demand a further price cut. I understand that this is still a valid deal for people with mid-power lasers who don't mind $8 more for quick arrival. But for myself, and anyone else with a higher-powered laser on a budget... just seems like there are better options =/
