Wow... Great post

A lot of good links in there.

I like this switch, i think it would look killer on this barrel host i have been wanting to use

i received an email about the switches i ordered..

Hey guys, I'm new to the forums and the whole free sample thing. :-?

And I'm trying to figure out how to actually get them, if you're a hobbyist like me, not a corporate drone ;D

Anyways i sent requests to a couple of companies for some samples, on Sunday, and have not received a reply from any of them. I was just wondering if this is normal, I personally would think they could have replied in 24 hours, but then again I'm kinda of noob :-/

I can't help but to think that I might not receive the samples, since when I was filling out the request form for "Company" I wrote none. Should I try and make up a company?

Well, I am being nice I'm not taking more then I need, but then again i have no intentions to buy in bulk.

Let me get back to the point, can anyone give me some advice on how to actually get these samples.
Not step by step directions, but more like tips

First... companies don't work on the weekend... a company giving free sample will acknowledge
receiving your sample order... but don't expect then to pay for the sample and shipping AND
hold a conversation with you... :

It doesn't matter if you have a company or not... and lying about a company is easy enough to
verify.... (then you can kiss your samples goodbye...IMO)

The tip is... follow the instructions on each site you are interested in and ........................ Wait..

Oh... by the way... it would have been nice if you would have introduced yourself to the
Forum on your first post... :
