Hmm..as far as i understand that datasheed which i found: http://www.metax.co.uk/pdf_files/Misc/EG&G 460.pdf
This LPM seems way outdated.. :(
10-² = 0.01Watt = 10mW <-- should be correct if i remember right :)
The interesting about this "thing" could be the wavelength detection which is included in this auction...*hmm*

The only negative thing I can see is that it is an Optical based
LPM that will need to be calibrated to wavelengths other than
shown in the data supplied above.

Contact the seller to be sure that a Head is included...
I see a photo of one but it does not seem to be included
in the description...

Model 460-2 is the wavelength detector which is included as stated..

But do you think i am right with my guess of 10mW as the max power which could be tested?

Btw.: I have no money this month so i am not realy interested in this meter..thought that maybe someone here at LPF could be interested in this "thing" :D
If i would have money for an LPM i would buy me an Lasersbee :p

:oops: I missed that detector part...

Unless I need to detect very fast Laser pulse powers I prefer
a Thermal detector...

I would like to have money for a LaserBee also but I keep buying lasers instead. :undecided:

I agree with Jerry, this is almost an antique. Shipping will be high also.

Wavelength detection? The wavelength needs to be set manually, at least according to what I read.

It's calibrated for most gas lasers, so recalibration would be needed. It does have a resolution of 10 picowatts, pretty good. I don't see a thermal detector doing that ;)
