EBay pack of 10 250mW+ unknown laser diodes

10 High power Laser diodes | eBay

What do you guys think? It might be a scam, but still for $5 there is not much to lose. I don't live in US so I can't bid on it. It may be interesting to do some experimenting on them.

There's always a reason things like this get sold at surplus auctions...

Though I think it's worth a try anyway.

I dont see how he can know the power and not the wavelength. Seems sketchy.

I was going to say that it was a little obvious they were heru, good thing you confirmed it. Heru used to say that whole 85% thing, he wouldn't specify wavelength (would say most are various IR, but you may get lucky with a red), they are 9mm not 5.6mm, and they have writing on the back of them like Heru's. Either way still a decent deal, just not too useful since 9mm various IR isn't a popular thing for us here.
