Just because the sticker says "MAX 150mW" doesn't mean it is anywhere close to 150mW. Every one of my Uniphase lasers says .5W MAX! even the 12mW one ;)

Let's see if anyone here recognizes this laser

Peace,
dave

You got a PS for tht ?? I don't see one.

Mike

It's not mine, I just saw the listing on eBay.

@Daguin:
Since it doesn't seem to outrageously overpowered (< 1 Watt), and considering it's a multiline laser, I'd assume the output would be ~100mW.

Read the words 'untested' and notice how there isn't a power supply included.

After you find a power supply and get it delivered  :mad:

You could probably work something out with the seller. No need to get mad at me. Just alerting the forum base of something I saw on eBay ;)

Here's something else I found that a forum member might be able to get for a low price.

These will run on a uniphase 2114 supply. Just dont plug anything into the round connector (that connector is just for light control and all that good stuff anyway)

Oh yeah... about showa... I believe they bought all the tooling from a laser company and are now manufacturing their heads. cant remember which company but it might have been NEC. Anyway... I've heard they aren't bad lasers, I'd be willing to bet this one runs just fine. And like I said, as far as I know it will plug right into a uniphase power supply with the white 9-pin square terminal. Probably does at least 50mW on all lines.
