Ok Well I dropped all my prices considerably on these. I won't make much profit at all on any of these dealZ so the savings go on to you, the customer :)

I just started selling the Optics Focusing Laser Module w/ 5mW 650nm laser diode inside in bulk rates as follows:

[link=http://www.hightechdealz.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3&products_id=37]Three (3) pack of Optics Focusing Laser Module w/ 5mW laser diode included - $10.12 ($3.37 each)[/link]
[link=http://www.hightechdealz.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3&products_id=38]Five (5) pack of Optics Focusing Laser Module w/ 5mW laser diode included - $15.35 ($3.07 each)[/link]
[link=http://www.hightechdealz.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3&products_id=39]Ten (10) pack of Optics Focusing Laser Module w/ 5mW laser diode included - $26.89 ($2.68 each)[/link]
all items are free shipping so the prices are "shipped"

This 10 pack is a crazy good deal (cheaper than the 10 packs on ebay from Aixiz), hopefully it will spur some business because things have been slow lately. I want to sell some stuff so I can order a whole bunch of can holder koozies w/ my logo on them and send those out in orders! :cool:

Re: Discount for multiple Aixiz Laser Module order

I noticed those are Sure Electronics modules, are you sure those are 12mm x 30mm? I heard they are shorter than the real Aixiz modules.

I'll measure them later. I'm pretty sure though, and yes they are sure modules, basically the same though. If someone requests for the Aixiz end caps I can ship those on these units as I have like 70 of the end caps.

edit: here ya go

Re: Discount for multiple SURE ELECTRONICS Laser M

Perhaps your thread should read, " Sure Electronics modules" for sale ? They are definitely shorter than the Aixiz modules, and the RKCSTR drivers will NOT fit inside a Sure module. You should change it, man.

Re: Discount for multiple Aixiz Laser Module order

ok, man. And if people want I can ship the Aixiz module end caps which would fit rckstr drivers. I have like 30 of the end caps from left over lasers.

and I see why business has been slow recently, others have started to order from China and sell at cost.... I guess it was a bad idea to buy 150 of these.... I'm going to drop my prices even further :-/

i'm glad i just started working at a real job because my company is not making any money

Yes, it's a lot too. I had ordered 30 something at first and shipping was $40, then when I ordered 150 shipping was $55.

Re: Discount for multiple Optics Laser Module orde

just checked out Sure Electronics's site, they've been busy with those modules and raised their price to $3.45 each + shipping...

I am currently the cheapest distributor of these modules by a big margin and I've only had a couple people buy them... I guess once people run out and need more they will figure this out and business will pick up. If I get low I'll have to increase my prices, just a heads up for anyone wanting these modules.

Are these any good for blu-rays, do they have clear lenses?

I assume that they are just like the standard modules, only shorter...?

They are fine for blu-rays.

Also, Just replacing the back part of the module will NOT get you the same full inside length of an Aixiz. The threads in the Sure module are longer as well. You [highlight]MAY [/highlight]still be able to fit a Rkcstr driver inside, but that would depend on how tight you get the driver soldered up against the diode. REMEMBER, you can always use the Rkcstr driver without the back part of the module. The Rkcstr driver doesn't have to be inside the module. It works just fine outside a module.

Peace,

WOW ! Now you are talking like a gas-station ! I think it is criminal that they can raise the price of gas of 20 cents overnight without having bought another drop of gas to replenish their stock. IMO - the only time to raise prices would be when you re-order the modules - just advice, that's all...

No worries, all I care about is the optics. I don't really use the back on these things anyway.

Thanks! :)

OH! One other thing: The lenses don't fluorescence, do they?
If they do, that would kill the power. :-/

There has been significant discussion of this issue in other threads. Yes. They fluoresce. However, that fluorescence interferes LESS with the output than the AR coating on the glass lenses. Right now the only other option is using a Merideth module with a glass lens. At $35 for the module and another $2 for the adapter, many are not willing to pay the extra for the Merideth for the increase in power. Most all of the power reports you have read are with these acrylic lenses.

Peace,
dave

I often cut the rear off of my Aixiz modules. This opens them up allowing more room to work. ;)

Re: Discount for multiple Optics Laser Module orde

well someone finally realized I had these on sale for a crazy low price and bought nearly my entire inventory :) I have about 12 of these left and won't be selling them anymore once I'm out. unless I can get the same deal from Sure that i had done before, we'll see.

just FYI for anyone interested.
