I understand people wanting to get something for as little money as possible but with laser safety goggles you usually get what you pay for. I didn't see where there was any OD rating with the ones you linked to.

If there is no advertised OD rating forget it, don't buy em. Even if there is an advertised OD rating, make sure there are from a reputable company. (check company reviews)

Don't skimp on this purchase. It just can't be said enough, you only get 1 set of eyes!!! Don't take any chances!!

The best goggles I've seen for reasonable money are these from DragonLasers.

Yeah I know all the risks and so.. I just want to know about low powered reds. I own a pair of the Focalprice goggles (for green) and they are very good (for 30mW :p) just want to know if these are good for red too. I'd never deal with 250~300mW red using these. For highter powered lasers (that I don't like that much, and don't own any) I use borrowed googles (buyed from OEM).

but thanks for caring ;)

sorry for the necropost but.. there is info to be added.
my friend bought a goggles like these because he liked the style (he don't like lasers, lol) and it arrived very well packaged and high quality (WOA, not expected from DD). I'll test they soon..
