Do you think the company knows that the IR diodes are defect ? That is the most expensive part of the green laser. We are basically paying for the hosts.

^^ undoubtedly. Takes 60s to remove a c-mount, so if they were good, i'm sure they would have done it.

I was thinking about a custom sink for this host with a 5.6mm diode pocket.
But the laser isn't focusable with the frontcap on.
