Looks like they put the same module in a couple of different bodies... all about the same price too. I wonder if they turn out to be any good.

Nice... i wonder how that performs!

Actually i really like the body style of that, but the CR2 battery is holding me back - those are not as common as 123's, though there might be nice rechargeables around. Guess they will fit a 123 charger with some hacking ;)

Delivery from DX usually takes less than a month--but the exceptions occur too often.

I usually have them in just over a week after they have shipped. Add a few days for collecting, and its 2 weeks from order to drop. Lasers are often out of stock or otherwise problematic (QC failures), perhaps its good to do your xmas shopping really early to make sure ;)

Well the thing is about shipping is that it says that it typically ships within 2-3 business days. I wonder what method they use then. If everyone says it takes so long to receive their orders. :-?

I think they mean the package leaves DX's warehouse in 2-3 days.

Yeah if that is true, then there is no way it would take that long to ship. Unless it is in Africa. Lol I dunno. ;D

Got my new favorite toy in the post today from DX (mobile phone jammer). It's smaller than I thought it would be and the main body is smaller than my BlackBerry Pearl 8100.
It comes with a wall and car charger and works great. As soon as you switch it on all mobiles in a 30 foot radius drop connection . looking forward to my next journey by train

Only took 2 weeks from placing the order to delivery :D

Does it charge up on our 240volts in the UK??? I noticed it used 12volt ok but nothing was said about whether it was 110v or 240v. I'm curious as I've just added it to my DX wish list ;)

Yes the charger that comes with it is 110 to 220 with US pins. It is labeled as a Nokia 8210 charger.
Did not come with a manual so I downloaded it of the DX website. Had mine on charge for 3 hours and the charge light is still on. The manual says the light goes off when it's charged.

I was worried it would get seized by customs but DX said it was an LED torch on the paper work ;D

I placed my first order with them over a month and a half ago. 2 MDXL flashlights and a True 30mw Green pointer. The flashlights came in 2-3 weeks.

I got notice this week that the green pointer has finally shipped. Still waiting to get it. Yes they're slow, but cheap. And the flashlights are great (going to definatly be picking up a few more of them). Also saw some nice Wii accessories on there. They seem to carry a rather broad range of products.
