I bought one, and some cr2s. So hopefully the jib drives will fit fine in here.

've got a jib77 driver with me here. Looks like it will fit inside an aixiz module.

If you solder the the driver directly to your diode standing vertically, then screw the back half of you module on, you can run a + wire from the driver out the back of the module, and glue a metal spring to the back of the aixiz module (with a nylon spacer to stop it from shorting)

This is how I use to make all my build when i sold them.

This is assuming the driver fits inside a module.

I'm not a big fan of soldering directly on diode pins. I always get
Mine with leads.. Is there no Room anywhere else for the driver? All you have to do is wrap it In tape yo keep it safe

EDIT: and the jib drives are too big for the aixiz modules unless you file them down alot, and even then soldering a diode to them would mean bending the pins BIG time. Something Im not comfortable with

^ I have never own a Jib Driver before. There is room to fit a driver somewhere else. Like in the plastic Pill.

You can For sure Fit a FlexDrive in there or a Micro Boost. But you will then not be able to use CR2 But a 14500 cell.:)

What are the Dimensions of Jib77 Driver.?

If its not that much bigger then a Flex then it will fit.

Even a Groove V2 Can Fit.

It hard to explain how it will fit but i will give it a go.

Only the Flex and Micro boost can Fit into the Pill Flush.

If using the Groove or Iam Pretty sure Jibs driver will fit also you will have Half and some in the Pill and the Other Half in the Pocket that the Top half of the Aixiz Module leaves.

So in Other words these Heatsink are about a Half inch longer then the top half of the Module. So that gives you a Half inch Room in that pocket to stick the Driver in. Plus the other Around half inch in the Pill.

I think you will have no issue fitting Jib77 driver in there with no need to connect it to the diode pins.

Hope this makes sense.

If you dont see my pm before you see this moh, I still want my coleman I already ordered/paid for, don't refund it.

I thought matt meant that there wasnt anywhere else to put a jib drive except in the aixiz module. As long as there is a pill with enough room for the driver, that's all I need.

And thanks lazeerer that makes perfect sense. I will just have to play around when I get it to see where I can stick my driver

Just a FYI, Jake. The stock "pill" in the coleman max is plastic. It has metal tabs molded into it that contact the top of the batteries and the side of the host. Haven't gotten round to mounting a driver in it yet...It is actually a really nice flashlight....decent throw and flood. I think I'll regret tearing it apart ;)
