Nice Find! Maybe group buy? I already have my PL520, but I know many people are waiting for prices to go down.

It could easily be a year before the price drops more than a couple bucks, on the other hand if some one else comes out with a PL520B then the price will drop faster you can be sure of that.

It sure would be nice to see them in the $50.00 range but don't hold your breath

Ooh, PL520B sounds like a multimode 1.4W powerhouse! Amirite? I could go for 1.4W of 520nm greatness! I feel like I should like Osram on Facebook or something....maybe get a bumper sticker. They make pretty diodes!

PS: It seems this is a sale that will end in 4 days, after which the price will go up to $132 per diode.

Apparently O-like has them for 125 a piece, so after the sale olike may be the best place to get them.

No, O-like have the 30mW 515nm version for $125, they are selling this particular diode for $155. dtr would be the best place after this sale.

I also noted this seller has only one feedback and it is negative. Not a great ratio. Be careful.;)

They are $50 now.

It's just a quantity type thing. So who will run the thousand piece GB?

As DTR suggests... take your risk with one negative feedback.
