Technically $110 with shipping but a steal for brand new Melles Griot 543.5nm tubes.

I spoke to Chad with mi-lasers and asked if it was ok that I share this deal. They have them for sale for $195+10 shipping but he will accept offers of $100 which is nearly half the original price. Great deal if you want to collect a new wavelength and its a nice bare tube for plasma viewing pleasure! :D

I was going to grab one but right now with a move in the near future im not trying to collect any more fragile belongings :(

But please enjoy LPF and post pictures when you get them going

EDIT: you guys probably need the link huh haha

I cant take advantage of it so I thought at least some of the members here could.

They have psu for $95 (not on ebay) but i think you might be able to find a better deal on those.

I have found several easy sources for cash around my town.

I have found that if you go up to them and push a few buttons, cash appears out of their belly

They are quite a nice resource.

I wish we had had them available when I was young

Peace,
dave

I need to come live where your at then! Cause all I have are laser buying trees, and those are gettin too darn expensive for my meager budget.

You could realistically get one of these running for about the price of building a 445nm if you found a used power source and these are 10X more cool IMO. You think people are impressed when you make a blue line come out of a flashlight wait until they see you fire up this 20" scifi deathray! Tell them to stay clear of the beam so they dont get burnt....they dont know its only 2mW haha

It says it needs 12KV to start it. Could you use a NST (neon sign transformer) to power one of these? You can find them for under $50 most times on eBay. A little bulky, but you can build a Jacobs Ladder, or Tesla Coil when not using it for the laser.

^^ you could but you'd need to seriously limit the current.

Also i dont think NST's go that high (voltage wise)

This is at least the 2nd time this guy has posted them on ebay. I was drooling over them last week when I saw the first one. I nearly bought it then at the $175.00 price, but ended up not doing so because of the added cost of adding a power supply. I never thought to make an offer though. :(

Now my wife really has put her foot down, no more lasers for at least a couple of months for me. :(

I guess I see her point, since I've blown though more then $500.00 in just the past week on lasers and accessories. :p

Question for anyone that seen this wavelength in Person. How different in color is 543.5nm to 532nm when they are side by side.?
