Looks good to me. The 300mw laser for $700ish dollars is a bit questionable though.

i guess we have seen a few too many ripoff lasers though... can't trust anyone but the pros anymore.

I just looked over their site and I suppose they are a decent company considering the fact that you get a power graph and a decent warranty. Also the site is in readable English unlike techlasers.

The systems do appear to be S*KY laser systems. If that is the case you might want to wait until the group buy persons receive their 532nm lasers and see how the quality feedback shakes out. I would not be comfortable purchasing from a company that lists no address or telephone number. They are hosted out of Orem, UT but that does not necessarily mean they are located there. I'm not suggesting they are a bad company or anything to that effect, but if I were purchasing I'd want a bit more information. If their legitimacy can be confirmed and they can provide a quality product (after there is some feedback from our group buyers) I'd buy fast as I think they have undervalued their lasers. If they are S*KY lasers they will find they end up having to do their own FDA 2877s which means their shipments get held up at customs for FDA inspection while waiting for the 2877s which adds freight forwarding costs from TNT (S*KYs shipper/freight forwarder). There is also customs fees they have to pay for the imports. There are other "hidden" costs of doing business that does not appear to be accounted for. Cost analysis is everything in business.

I'll kind of help them out. If they turn out a good product then buy now and buy often as the price won't stay this low.

Good advice Frothy,

I think I'll hold off until I hear the S*KY reviews as well. Might be a deal for a while, as you say. Hopefully they will also realize the massive marketing power of sending out over-spec lasers to forum members... ;)

Cheers, CC

It has been confirmed that blaze is owned by some members of this forum. however, at this time they choose not to reveal themselves for some reason.

what have you got to hide, guys?!

In drLava's GB thread somebody mentioned that laserBob was selling these at one point. Does anyone remember anyone else?

Wow, those IR lasers look nuts!

Three questions:
1- Are IR lasers visible at any distance?
2- Is this the cheapest you can get them for that much power?
3- What distance does it burn things?

Contact customer support and ask them :) And as for question 3, youd need a fair bit of power to burn me ::) ;D ;D ;D ;D
