that 2000mw IR laser looks toasty.

Do you guys know approximately what the divergence is?

What distance do you think it can pop a balloon from?

Peace,

In the ad I see in the forum there is an image of a red, green and blue laser. Do you guys plan on selling blue lasers in the near future?

How far can the 2W IR pop balloons or light matches from? That's a good price and has me interested in one.

Its focusable so theres quite a bit of balloon popping / match lighting range on it.

Hey, I got hard time sending you email at sales@blazelasers.com.
I get this message:" Missing or malformed recipient" maybe is on my side ?

Anyway, just wanna ask this:

'm curious if your 2W IR laser is visible at all in any conditions. Like- if you point it at the wall in darknes, will you see any dot at all?

980nm is gonna be pretty hard to see. I would anticipate ~1mw red-like brightness with it.
And safe to say, if you can see a balloon you can pop it.

Reason the 2 watt is 980nm rather than 808 is simply because it's cheaper from our supplier (couple hundred).

And since our aim is best pricing, we haven't yet brought out blues because we can't beat the prices of some other distributors on 473nm, yet.

I would love to see some tests on the farthest distance popping balloons, burning match etc...

Is there any intent of carrying lasers that cost below $100? Maybe some DIY 70-100mW's in a flashlight casing?

Either they forgot about this thread, or they don't care about it. ;)

I still have an unanswered question from 4 days ago.

I'm interested in the IR ones, could you do some tests with balloons and matches?
