if these are the same as the ones I bought from Paul they are as good as any lens out there. I swapped out a G9 lens for one and it is as good or better if you ask me. Thanks Paul for sharing .

I finished testing these lenses and the 3 element lenses and the O-Like lenses, and there is not as great a difference in the 660nm wavelength. The Techhood lenses and the O-like lenses are pretty close to the same in this wavelength. But, neither one was a great deal of difference from the 3 element lenses either. At best you will find about a 18-19% increase over the 3 element lenses. But, they never were made for this purpose. The Techhood lenses are only about 13mW higher than the O-Like lenses in the 660nm wavelength around 300mW. So, I guess they aren't a miracle lens for all purposes. But, for 405nm, 445nm, and 520nm wavelength they are a good 30% higher in power than the three element glass lenses.

Starlight, these are indeed the lenses I sold to you. So, if anyone wants a second opinion, starlight has two of these lenses.

I am guessing that these lenses are copied from the original G2 lens, and the techhood lens is just a better copy than the o-like, for the consumer its beneficial but for those who made the G2 lens its going to be hard to sell as these are 1/4 of the price

Here's an update. I got in touch with the engineer at techhood and if we want to do a group buy, I can get these for $5.00 a piece. He wasn't specific about the number, so from what I know about this company, and I've done a lot of business with them, we can probably get this price for maybe 60 to 75 lenses at the least, but probably at least 100. If enough people are interested I will see if we can get this approved by the moderators and deal with it basically the same as the O-Like buy. It all depends on if there is enough interest in the forum to do this.

Well I just ended my G2 Lens Listing and will keep it, as it sure as heck wouldn't sell for the price I wanted now! I even took it down to $29.99, which was a great price! LOL

If these perform even better, I'm considering getting one off Ebay or the group buy here myself. Thanks so much for bringing this to our attention!!

johnawesley, sorry about the timing. It wasn't my decision as I put this up last week. I know about your listing, and when I saw it, I really felt badly for you. This couldn't have come at a worst time for you. Maybe if this group buy goes through I can be forgiven. Besides, if you hold onto it you will be able to sell it eventually.

I just got an email from Techhood that said a buyer in Europe saw my thread for the $5.
00 price and since they purchased 1000 pieces they want to return the lenses. I've been asked to increase the price or withdraw the thread because of this buyer is wanting to return his lenses. So, lets say that the price right now is more than $5.00 each. This doesn't mean that the group buy can't go through, it is just this one problem that has to be extinguished. So, lets take it a little slower and the price is "more" than $5.00 for each lens.

Rifter, hey, no problem. Keep in mind that we are trying to get a group buy together, and the price would be better than on eBay. The more people interested in this group buy the better off we will be.

Perhaps I can get in on the group buy then for a really great price? :D

Actually I bought a 1.5W 445nm C-6 Laser (One of Gary's Survival Branded Lasers) off of Ebay with the Extension tube, Aixiz 3 Element Lens, G2 Lens, and two 18650 Batteries for $70.00 Shipped. I stole it for sure :crackup:
So, you didn't ruin anything for me, as the G2 Was just bank or pure Profit. Selling the G2 for $29.99, would have made the Laser package for me $40.00 :)

Here is a pic for you. I added the GITD tail cliky and added Blue Sky glow Powder in the slits of the Extension tube and finally added one of Nicks awesome Hologram Laser Warning Stickers.





I would really like to get in on the Group buy please, so count me in and thanks for bringing these lenses to the forum! :thanks:
