This is a great deal if it really is a 12X and if the diode is harvestable (anyone tried their luck on this yet?), and if you want to use the other diodes and sled and motors etc.

Nice find but unless you want to scavenge the optics DTR sells 12x diodes for the same price.

Yep I would go with what DTR is offering you will know for sure what you are getting for your money.

As for the drive what if it turns out it's a 12x reader and can only write at 6x, I don't know about it I'm just saying...

For a true 12x like this type of drive 2 years ago we were paying $205.00 each :crackup:
