I am not trying to con anybody into a sale here, I am selling a complete 1W 460nm laser with specs listed on my listing. I plan on having a happy buyer, and if not I'll issue a full refund. If you don't like what I'm selling, then please do not bid.

I measured 15nm difference between my laser and a projector diode. Even with a few nm or error, that's quite a swing. I have not cherry picked projector diodes. If you (or anybody else) think that 460nm is possible from a projector diode, then get a projector and test them out for yourself.

I don't expect to be the only one to ever know about these diodes, but currently I'm the only one selling one so I expect to make a profit. I have bills to pay for just like everybody else, and me selling a marked up laser module is no different than any other forum seller.

If anybody is interested in purchasing a 460nm module from me, PM me.

I did not say YOU cherry picked a diode. I thought you got the module assembled, plug and play that is. No? Oh and believe me, 15nm of difference for a 445 is possible. At least from what I've read and have been told. Good luck with your sale.

I understand, I am just clarifying that I personally have not cherry picked any projector diodes. I'm curious myself on the range of wavelengths that the projector diodes have to offer.

These are diodes used in the newer higher lumen C****o projectors. They are also used in handhold picro-projectors as well. Can't wait until we get direct green diodes.

What handheld pico-projectors are using multimode 445s ?

I think we should just leave him alone on where he gets his supplies. He's a good guy and a good seller. If your in doubt just don't bid/buy his modules!

Just received the module today. Everything looks great...haven't powered it up yet but will get to it tomorrow. I have a few 445's I impend to compare it to and if I can get some decent beam shots for comparison I will post them here...I am not aware of any visual comparison available on the web with this module and a 445 side by side. It appears to be a really quality rig. I am pleased with the bang for buck ratio so far and I haven't even seen it laze yet...

hmm. See, I'm interested in one of these but not till I see a spectro reading... Qume or I could do that (much like the Ablaze situation)...

Would be nice to see if the purchaser can see a difference, though.

Jmillerdoc emailed me and told me that he notices a big difference between his 460nm laser and his 445nm lasers.

You've got 445s I'm sure - why not take a side-by-side photo with one of your traditional 445s?

I've tried taking pictures and I can't get a noticeable difference on my camera, my camera does not do too well on the blue side of the spectrum though. The difference is there in person, talk to Jmillerdoc and he will tell you the same thing.
