I bought one of these based on a review from someone else on these boards. Shipping from China is so slow that the review which provoked me to try buying one of these is now buried down where I can't find it.

But, subjectively it is unmistakably brighter than any other of my several 405nm pens, and it has a much nicer dot.

I have a new M140 diode that I need to get installed in one of my lasers, and I'll of course get out the LPM and measure the results when I do that installation. If I get around to doing that this weekend (amidst all the Super Bowl madness), I'll also measure the 405 pen I recommend here, and post the results here.

my 2 pens metered 32mw and 44mw. they're in the laser pointer host we know and love. i plan to do more beam mixing with dichros and these low powers are a lot "safer" to fiddle with.

Just got myself another one, it metered at 55mW in darkness the beam has color even with my old eyes. This is what was missing when all we had was >30 mW of 405nm, at least to me. -Glenn

I started in on these $5-6 ($5.13 and $5.03 actually) pointers myself because of that other thread that one of the links within went to yallstock where I ordered.
At the same time I ordered a 405 and a 532, the 405 came surprisingly quick, much quicker than was projected, the 532 came about 1 week later.
I have an LPM now but need to come up with a sensor head that I will either build or buy so I cannot state output levels, but I will say this about the 532, Ive got one of Swimmingsurfer256's 532 Super Overspec's and it totally blows away what I got from yallstock while the 405 I got from both parties seem to be about the same brightness.
