I have two of these in 650 nm at 128 mw and 405nm at 82 they are what pman claims. listen to the man he "Knows" what he is talking about in regards to these pens. There are crap pens out there and then there are decent pens at a reasonable price and these are all over spec at least by 20 percent

I've told others about another unit that I ran into about 1.5 years ago that as far as I know, no-one else has purchased. O-Like last page of red lasers has a unit for $12 that I purchased 2 of that measured 125 and 150mW with (2) AAA and 215/224mW with a single 10440 (with spacer). They are focusable and have a really nice heft/feel to them. How long will it last with a 10440? Who knows. What would it measure with a glass lens swap? More

-Just because I mention the source doesn't mean I recommend O-Like for any other unit. Just sharing what I personally have experience with.

-Any seller can switch out the units with different ones at any moment that are crappy. Seen this over and over again which forced me to buy from different sellers until I found the right ones again.

When it says it's been removed, that just mean the listing date ran out and it is advertised as another post or whatever it's called. Kinda like how an ebay bid runs out so does buy it now.

they are cool to the least! Guys when it comes to ebay laser pens Pman know's a lot about them. So listen to the man if you want to get the best deal and find one that is over spec. I have five ebay pens and mine are all over. 405-82mw 650nm -128 mw 532nm-34mw and so on But if you want to change that rating then Pman has a tutorial on how to go about that. By a cheap set for 8 bucks so you do not ruin you upper power pens

pman how did you get the o-like reds sent to you? bite the bullet and pay the ~$30 shipping?

I don't remember what I paid for shipping. I believe that I had bought a bunch of stuff at the same time to offset the shipping but don't remember it costing $30. Is that their baseline shipping cost? I'll take a look at their site more. Don't know if my purchases still show up from that far back. Will look into it this afternoon.

By the way, they sell small IR filters.

The O-like IR filters aren't very good. At least the one that I have here isn't, it lets a lot more IR through than a filter removed from a camera.

is a BAD idea IF your are not 100% sure that reversing polarity willl NOT turn your laser into a LED.

I have yet to see a China pen-pointer that took the battery with neg to the tailcap...Yours is toast-- you can ask the seller to send another- I bought 3 sets of 3 colors from etime($9 w/ free ship) and all but one worked- I asked for and got a free replacement BUT it too arrived DOA-- they told me they testing it before sending the replacement but ...- They wanted 4.50usd to send a 3rd one- and that I had to pass on--cheaper to just spend another $3.

about the huge price diffs. from the same sellers--

like was said they make several listings of the same item and varying prices just to see who is NOT doing any homework before buying..

AFAIK ALL penpointers from China are made at ONLY 2 or 3 places max. and , of course they never did make ones at several powers- --all are made the same and are(or were) 'binned' into power catagories-
but they start out the same- this is very true with 532s but afaik its done that same way for the other colors--- NOW that PoopPal and Greedbay have banned >5 mW the sellers in China no longer find a need to bin thier lasers.
so its a crap-shoot as to what we get--

last dos centavos.. when we speak about 532s remember these power readings in most cases were NOT done using an IR filter- so how much actual green you are getting will not be accurate--- place red colored goggles to stop most of the green from passing and your LPM reading then will be mostly the IR-OR use an IR filter to read ONLY the green.. but in ANY case we need to know HOW you metered your 532s--

IMy info source is a seller from Houston who ACTUALLY goes to CHINA to make buys to re-sell on line.

& he has a Phd in lasers for medical usage..

The pens that I purchase can take a reverse battery and still work. Don't know how long but if you goof up (positive to tail/negative to front) they should still work.

So, a friend ordered a set from the seller "milliongadgets" that he thought might be the correct ones and they arrived today for me to test. Ordered 11/6, arrived 11/10 USPS First class mail.

405nm = 67mW
650nm = 131mW

These ARE the correct ones that can be "easily" modified for full focusing

The ones that I purchased from "overfeel" shows that I should have received those Saturday but USPS screwed up and after arriving here they sent them on to another city about 1.5 hours away

. Would expect to get them Wednesday as tomorrow is a holiday unless they really screw it up. Will report on those hopefully then.
