I've really enjoyed looking through all the posts on this thread and seeing just how many people got such overspec lasers! Do you guys think that THIS laser that I've ordered will be overspec, if so I hope it gets through customs.

If that does arrive I'll probably try to order a couple more overspec pens, since I'm in Australia I won't be able to get them if they're labelled as 5mW, do you guys think THIS laser would be overspec?

LOL @ the 1mW 405nm laser. Its labelled as 1mW - High Power :crackup:

Both lasers are most probably going to be overspec.

While ago I tried to mod one of these. Diode outputs up to 300mW. (With 4.2V) killed of course

Measured two of those 405nm pens, one is mine and the other is my friend's.
Both are about 40mW. His has a bad lense and looks *very* messed up at 20m.
