Steve, I don't appreciate all of the crap you have been giving me on the forum... I didn't ship them through paypal, I shipped them at the actual post office. I had to fill out the contents my address his address and a couple other things I had no idea what they were.

Oh, and I have my own paypal. Sorry to burst your bubble... :tsk:

Guys, give Ben a break. He's young, so am I, but that doesn't mean that we aren't capable. Snide comments about age are quite immature and completely unnecessary.

And in regards to it being a pain in the ass - yes, it's a bit more of a pain in the ass to ship internationally because it's more than just sticking it in a post box - you actually have to go inside the post office, fill out paperwork, get it weighed, etc. (at least, I did last time I shipped internationally).

Well if you see advice as being crap... then i guess alot of crap goes around. Like I said, before, if you stop and listen instead of having this "ohh i know everything already attitude, I said that paypal can take care of ALL the paperwork needed to ship out stuff. You just have to pay for shipping through paypal. I never once had to wait in line and fill out stuff at a post office, i just do it at home and drop it off...no need to wait in line either. It thats simple.

theres a difference between crapping on someone and telling them that they are wrong and leading them in the right direction.

The crap wasn't the advice about paypal. The crap was the snide remark about the paypal possibly belonging to his dad.

(And while, yes, paypal may be able to take care of all the paperwork, he may have not know that yet or just not bothered - I don't know. But I wasn't actually sending something off for sale last time I shipped internationally, I was applying for an overseas university, so I have never had to opportunity to ship via paypal.)

just to point something out. I ghosted the forum for about 4 months before actually signing up. I read at least 200 threads and tutorials before i even attempted to make a laser. It took another 3 months before I decided to sell something...theres alot of knowledge to be gained.

You have constantly been asking for help, not as in help me understand, but help me just make this work...sort of thing. Theres alot of basics that need to be covered dude. I only say what I say because that is the general sentiment on the forum lately about what you are doing. and about the shipping thing...i was honestly just checking to see, because without having your own paypal account its hard to conduct business though it. That was a simple and honest question... now if theres nothing to be ashamed of, then nobody should have taken offense to it. simple as that.

This would be the time that you should stop talking.

Almost every time you open your mouth, you expose another aspect of your lack of experience.

Better to remain silent and earn respect through action, than to verbally defend yourself and loose respect through self disclosure.

Since CaptainATI already bumped this thread I dont think it will do any harm if I post another comment in here :p

I hope your diodes arent lost in the mail, it would really be sad to see over 40 dollars go to waste...I got worried when I didnt recieve my LPC sled in a month so I know that something that costs about 6-7times more will make you worry 6-7 times more then me, lol, thats my awesome maths skills there for ya :p
