http://www.focalprice.com/500mW_Portable_Red_Laser_Pointer_Black_LP080B_7945.html

I'd be a little leery of the disclaimer:

"Remark: The outpout power is offered by supplier, not the standard data after testing"

Considering there are Dildas out there at $45 with batteries and chargers that can output 220-240mW or more using 3.6v batteries, and the fact tht 40% (or more) under spec is pretty much a given with many of these Chinese lasers, well, it's YOUR money so do what you want...

Good Luck!

PS: I've heard of "square peg / round hole" but look at the keyswitch, Hory Clap, not fittee so werr...

I dont believe single mode red diodes of this power are available, so it is either way underspecced, or using a multimode diode. The latter is feasible, but it won't give very good beam specs.

Why don't you buy it and test it for us... then you will be sure...
and you can do a review for us...

I... on the other hand believe what the other members are saying about the laser and about
that laser company... and I would not but it....
But I think you should buy it... so you can show us with some proof that we are all wrong...

By the way, Day's got a 200mW portable in his group buy for about $100 less...yeah, I can barely believe it, too.
