This laser comes in 50, 100, 150 and 200mw versions, it is possible that kaidomain have used a picture of the 100mw version and i would think that more likely than them selling a 100mw badged laser as a 200mw! or is it?... time will tell.

Power: 50mW, 100mW, 150mW, 200mW

Operating temperature: 10 ℃ ~ +30 ℃
Start-up time: less than 3 seconds Operating voltage: DC3.7V

Adjustable focus, continuous output beam spot

That says you can use a 18650, or one CR123, maybe with a spacer, not 2 CR123s as the KD description says

Confusing, especially as one of the pic's on KD shows 2 CR123's alongside the laser.

In some of the pic's it looks like there is a spacer which if removed would allow use of a single CR123

Think ill stick an 18650 in mine (assuming it makes it through customs) unless of course someone puts 2 CR123's in theirs and finds it puts out ludicrous milliwatts without dieing... ;)

I'll be the guinui pig. I alm always down to ruin a perfectly good laser for experimenting. That is unless it has made it to my collection of "KEEPERS"

I doubt this will require destructive testing really... just run one on 3.0 and 4.0 volts, and see what current does. If its properly regulated it wont go up much and 2 cells are probably safe.

Someone may have received one by now but they havn't posted. No one has done a review yet as far as I know.

My order shipped on May 25th but it takes time to get to the USA. I'm just hoping for 100mw+ for that price, that's all....

very nice find

I am ready to buy one as soon as the first review comes up ö
If these do more than 80mW I will be happy, since the host is also very nice. If they even get close to 200mW.. wow.
I hope they are not the usual "take a 50mW and put another sticker on" scams.
