i won't say that i happens all the time, but a several months back i ordered a 50mW 532nm green pen from DX and they shipped it to my front door. sometimes it slips through the proverbial cracks. maybe you will be lucky.

Customs dont ever take it, its Paypal that stops the shipment from happening. Ive ordered a 20mw laser, 100mw laser, 200mw laser, all came untouched.

I wouldn't be so sure about that friend. Customs has currently confiscated a $2500 package of lasers of mine and they have had their hands in it since the 13th. Who know if I will ever get my package back. I am pretty heated. Hopefully we will all get ours though. I have never had a problem getting 1 or 2 or even 5 lasers in at a time. I think that maybe it is just the large orders of 100 or more lasers that look suspicious. Just speculation.
You know you can get 100mW lasers from Rayfoss for $55. They are the ones with a start tip on them. I ordered 3 and they could all pop balloons and light matches and stuff.

I don't underestimate anyone's generosity here. There are a lot of good people here on the forum. I've offered a few things for free myself. Speaking for myself, and I was, I would just throw someone a $1 than to ask for one for free. Also I would not post my address on a public forum because of all the bots collecting info to spam.

My X-75 say that its under 500mW but whatever sticker doesn"t mean anything.
