$2 Soldering iron stands

Many people on this forum buy soldering irons don't come with proper stands, but instead some flimsy wire thing that is apt to get tipped over.

Well you're in luck! Sparkfun has a surplus (100 as of 07/15/2011) of coiled soldering iron stands + sponges for only $2 each! These stands are normally $12 or so at places such as Amazon.com, so it's quite a bargain! While you're there, you can buy some other goodies for your lasering needs.

Yeah if you have other things to buy its a GREAT deal. Otherwise you can find a soldering iron stand with helping hands and magnifier for about $15-20 at some department stores. I cant imagine building lasers without my set of helping hands. It would be miserable!
