Are you the seller?

If so, do you have the 17.5mm black silicon caps in stock?

So $2 plus $5 shipping? DX has them for $1.89 shipped Glow-in-the-Dark Silicone Tailcaps for Flashlights (14mm Green / 10-Pack) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme

And they've got the black ones for you Adrian, only $1.71

The estimated arrival time for items from DealExtreme is over 31 business days for worldwide locations and there is no tracking number on orders at low cost like 1.89$. My offer has fast and secure delivery with tracking number.

I only sell the green caps that glow in the dark, because most people want them at this color.

Those are 14mm tailcaps. I need a black 17.5mm one to replace the green one that came with a black host. It looks poo stock, must be changed.

Any idea where I can get some black ones from?

You'll have to do better than that price! I sell them for $1 each at my site. ;)

And also, you really should edit the main picture, you should never turn on the laser with the dust cap still on, you'll burn out your diode in no time due to reflected light.

Agreed ^^ dust cap is there for dust... but what the hell, sinds when are tailcap buttons a standard in such that it would protect you from what ? fire ? (weird thought behind this)
If that's the story behind this, then buy silicone transparant ones, and put a little piece of alluminium inside it, take the battery's out etc.. (same effect, but will protect you from what¿?¿ fire ?)

All in all, you have to be carefull with lasers anyway's... how you store them and display them...
To prevent the lens from dust is ok.

To go further, what's the measured time for a 1W 445nm to not burn through the cap, let alone do damage to the diode.

I doubt topic starter will let us know.
Silly

yours sincerely, SM.
