Yeah and don't forget to add $1000.00 to ship it to Canada...
It must weigh a ton...
Then there is Canada Customs duty/taxes.... and a few hundred for
UPS Brokerage fees...

But a bargain if you're in the USA...

Is there 532nm coming out of this machine?
It only says YAG laser...

Hmm... I guess you're right...

I seem to recall reading 532nm somewhere on google last night when I was looking this up, but I can't find that anymore... Still, I guess you could buy a big old KTP and make it green yourself... :undecided:

IIRC, medical lasers are suppose to be "decommissioned" before being sold to civilians; Unless you have the proper licenses and all... This decommissioning can vary from cutting to disconnecting wires, etc...

Theres a bit more to it than simply sticking a whopping great KTP infront of it!

That is a ~50W 1064nm laser system, several indicators: The goggles, the fact it says Nd: YAG, and the fact that that model number is a IR unit.

Yeah, where did you get 150W from? The sticker?!? How about "green"?

It was late, I was tired and mildly drunk, and the few random pages I read from googling the model number had the words "150W" and "532nm" on them somewhere. Anyways, yeah, with a bigass KTP you could make several watts of green, but yeah, I was mistaken, it's actually 1064nm.

Without rebuilding that laser and changing some cavity optics, I doubt you could even get 1W from it.

450$ ?? ..... LOL !!

I had a pair of Melles Griot 10mW units like this one, with PSUs, one i gifted to a friend years ago, the other is still laying in a box somewhere from years (i literally don't remember where, maybe undertaken together with the Spectra Phisics 50mW one), always considered them just toys, and now i see someone sell them for so much ? ..... LOL

@game-genie...
That looks like a low powered Red He-Ne laser for $450.00 that is no
doubt used to target the YAG's beam...

@Laser_Ben.... If you look at the pic of the Warning labels that are
probably attached to the outside of the Surgery Room's door...
you can clearly see the 100 Watt warning...
