I'm guessing it's a scam where he just sells you a 200mw 650nm red diode , but still take the gamble.

Keep us informed as to how this goes! I've been looking for a good 635nm-640nm laser for use in a projector, 4 of these knife edged would do very nicely.

I contacted the ebay seller to see what they say.

But like i said i bought it for the hell of it. If it what it says it is when i get it i will be jumping for Joy. But as of right now my hopes are extremely LOW.

I hope these are legit but seems way too good. Some places charge more than that for a harvested LOC.

The specs like the current and voltage don't match a 120mw 660nm that looks the same that I found. Who knows it could be a 640 or maybe a IR.

I have bought from the seller before here:

He is also selling some of these diodes to. I think they are all the same sellers but under different accounts.

Also Many have bought 12x of this seller above.

i bought those $3.99 650nm from him. I remember 2 out of the 5 i bought came dead and he sent replacements out to me for free.

But still it does seem to good to be true.

Could it have just been a 658nm that he was wrongly informed it was a 638? Only time will tell.

Seems suspect to me, lots of different sellers but the listing format is the same for most of them.

I guess we shall see :D

Edit: More 120mW's came up, search the bay for em!

Dont want anyone to get burnt. I dont care if i do at this Price as i new from when i bought it, Its not going to be what they say.:)

I'm sort of dying to know what power and WL you get. Watch it either be a 20 mw 635 or IR diode.
