i finally popped my first balloon! YAY ;D ;D!! lol, i know its not that big of a deal for most of you guys with your lasers over 100mW, but mine was rated at max 50mW and cost me $43 (including shipping&handling). I'm proud of it, and oh yea, IT SCARED THE CRAP OUTTA ME, lol, i was watching a movie with the laser on the balloon on my lap, and when it popped i nearly pooped myself, lol

yea it surprised me also that it even worked, i haven't been able to do it since

I'm upset now!! it was just a taste of laser fun, now i want the rest of it

i remember my first balloon pop, it was about 5months ago, i tried and tried for ages, then after 20seconds pop!! it was 30mw! i was amazed

then i got an "80mw" which was probably closer to 50-60, 3seconds to pop a balloon, i loved it.

now i own a 175mw, instant 10 in a row ;D

best tip i can give you would be to sit the laser down on a table so its perfectly still

My "5mW" (maybe around 10?) 405nm laser (now sold) popped a balloon in about 10 seconds. I thought that was amazing. Too bad I tried after I got my ~130mW Sonar, so I already had extreme popping

. With the Sonar, it can pop balloons about 10 feet away in less than a second.

Can't you order it through sawt? :-/ I mean, all you need is cash.Or if you have to be 18 or 21 to put money in a bank account you can ask an older friend.
