So I finally got around to measuring my "bottle" greens. I guess that they are kinda hit or miss. One was only 17mW, but the other hit a peak of 51mw and then settled to 47mw.

hello buy :9 i bought this laser. it is shipped yesterday 
i am waiting it to arrive in italy how could i know if it is up to spec? i need you member.. owners of this laser is for you a 5mw laser pot moded or atrue 50mw? focalprice sell also a 5mw... bho.. maybe it is only pot modded and i could buy the 5mw...and pot mod it to have same performance XD
however.. i hope it will be good. how is the divergence? dealextreme sell a TRUE 50mw bottle shape laser.. but at a higher price. .about 28. not so much more.. but ...i notice this thread.. and 2 member received well powered laser. ok one is at 17 but if my laser is 20.. i wil lreturn it i have a 30mw to compare it if the laser is the same or stronger... it will be ok...but i hope to receive a laser like the one received by the owner of the 1st post!

I really like this one 3096 50mW 532nm Green Laser Pointer (Silver) $31.11 - Free Shipping It is just like Jayrob's but it doesn't have the tapered head. I think I may pick one up and see what I can do with it.

i will review it.. but i have no meter. BUT i can compare it to my kaleidoscopic 30mw that should be 30mw... it is very strong.

ty warne... i made a review of this laser. my laser is a lit worse in power than my 30mw. mmm... i made a bad uunit maibe.
you got a 17mw and 47mw... but i would ask you if the 17 mw can BURN trashbag. my laser CAN.. so i think it is about 25 or about. same burning abilities of the other 30mw kaleidoscopic. how is your divergence? mine is really good... just alittle worse than the kaleido( yeah.. my kaleido has very rare beam spec for a cheap pointer.. about 1mrad)
i don't know how to know the real power of my laser. i am thinking to ghet the laserbee 120mw meter.. that is relatively cheap.

I ordered two of these and received them yesterday. I installed fresh Energizer CR2 3.0v primary's and tested with my laserbee. I got between 33-35mw from each of them.
I then put in fresh RCR2 3.6v battery's and then measured, I got between 48-50mw on each. Not super impressive like jayrobs at all. He got the only "hot" one it seems at 70mw peak out of the box. I wish they made 5.0v CR2's, I would surely try that and overdrive the voltage for more output in a cheap pointer.
Seems like here are better, cheap 532nm greenies out there IMO. I will take these apart and make one a PHR BR for sure.
